How to get in touch

First, if you just like to say hello and tell me how much you like my movies/photos/music/etc please do so - I appreciate it. You find my e-mail address below.

Second, I get a lot of e-mail with either similar questions that I've answered a dussin times before, or questions which are mostly self-explanatory, or questions to which the answers can be found with a little time Googleing. Also, I may not want to reply to questions concerning where to get different gear, what stuff X is or how to use it (there usually is a manual with the stuff you buy) or what I eat, how my poop looks like after survival excursions, etc... (I have actually been asked these questions) - go out and find out for yourself! :)

Since I am very busy, please respect that I may not reply to your questions at all - life is a bonus and should not be wasted in front of a computer writing e-mails!

Before you e-mail me, please take a look below and see if your question(s) can be answered right away.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: When will English subtitles be available for the movie Iceland Traverse?
A: I do not have a clue... first I have to find time, second I have to find motivation to make it happen... neither are in big supply. If it's really so important to you, contact a translation firm (or perhaps just any swede) and make the subtitles yourself.

Q: What 17 days worth of food did you take for Iceland Traverse?
A: Please look in the PDF file that can be found on the same page you found food for 17 days. It's in Swedish but kcal and stuff are universal - it couldn't be that hard to figure out what it is. If the brands are weird, it's because it's Swedish food. I did however skip the dried Reindeer meat and bought dried fish (Hardfiskur) in Iceland which I boiled with the mashed potatoe powder. You can see all the food while I pack it in the movie. You can also see me cook & eat some of it.

Q: How much weight did you lose on Iceland Traverse?
If I remember correctly, it was 5-6 kg, but I ate a lot of nice food back in Reykjavík so it was most likely more.

Q: How much did your food weigh for Iceland Traverse?
7.5 kg, which was enough for the treck (you can never take enough food, better to carry fat on your body than in your pack), but not enough for taking 5 days off like I did in Landmannalaugar. I bought food in the shop to cover those days.

Q: What maps did you use for Iceland Traverse?
I used a Garmin GPS map which covered Iceland and Svalbard (don't know the name of the product), the most useful maps where: printouts from Atlaskort on CD-ROM and Rough Guide's Iceland Map.

Q: When will the next Bushcraft movie be out? Have you stopped making them?
A: I don't have any short term plans to make another bushcraft movie as I have covered most of what's important in the previous episodes. The long term plan is to make an episode about alpine survival, but that is way into the future. In the mean time I will be making climbing movies instead :)

Q: So when will the first climbing movie be out?
A: I don't have a clue, so you don't have to e-mail me about it...

Q: I don't even like climbing...
A: Too bad, because I don't think I will be making any movie that doesn't have some kind of climbing in it.
